Triathlon

Olympic Triathlon

1500 m swim · 40 K bike · 10 K run

The benchmark distance for serious triathletes. A 1.5-kilometer ocean swim (2 laps) off Crystal Cove State Beach, a fast 40K out-and-back on PCH (~664 ft elevation), and a 10K coastal-trail run finishing inside the park.

Duathlon

Olympic Duathlon

1 mi run · 40 K bike · 10 K run

Same coastal experience without the open-water swim (2 laps). A 1-mile run-out kicks things off, followed by the full 40K Olympic bike course and a 10K run to the finish. Ideal for runners adding multisport.

Aquabike

Olympic Aquabike

1500 m swim · 40 K bike

Two legs, no run. Perfect for swimmers and cyclists who want the open-water + PCH experience without finishing on foot. Same course, same finish-line feel.

RELAY

Olympic Relay

1500 m swim · 40 K bike · 10 K run

The Olympic course, divided up. Build a team of friends, family, or club mates — one swimmer, one cyclist, one runner — and tackle the full Olympic distance together. Hand off in the transition zone, cheer your teammates through their leg, and cross the line as a unit.

Know your laps. The swim is 2 laps. The bike is 4 laps of the same ~6.2-mile loop on PCH. Count them — it is the most common mistake on race day.
