Triathlon

Sprint Triathlon

½ mi swim · 12 mi bike · 3 mi run

The sprint distance is the perfect entry point — half-mile ocean swim (1 lap), 12-mile rolling bike along the coast, and a 3-mile run on coastal trails. Fast, scenic, achievable for a first-timer with a few months of training.

Duathlon

Sprint Duathlon

½ mi run · 12 mi bike · 3 mi run

The Sprint Duathlon swaps the swim (1 lap) for a half-mile run-out. Same fast 12-mile coastal bike course, finishing with a 3-mile run on the trails. Great option for runners curious about multisport.

Aquabike

Sprint Aquabike

½ mi swim · 12 mi bike

Half-mile swim (1 lap) plus the 12-mile coastal bike. No run, just a beautiful morning on the water and bike. Often the right pick for swimmers and cyclists managing knee or run-volume limits.

Relay

Sprint Relay

½ mi swim · 12 mi bike · 3 mi run

Three teammates, one race. Split the half-mile ocean swim (1 lap), 12-mile coastal bike, and 3-mile trail run between you. Perfect for first-time multisport teams, office squads, or anyone whose strongest leg isn't all three. Same finish line, same medal, same finish-line photo — earned together.

Know your laps. The swim is 1 lap. The bike is 2 laps of the same ~6.2-mile loop on PCH. Count them — it is the most common mistake on race day.
